The ability to achieve good relations with
others can hardly be overestimated as a factor in a
business success. And, the ability to sell your ideas is
part of almost any job. For salespeople, the necessity
is obvious. But anyone – from the supervisor on the shop
floor to the top-level executive – who needs to win the
cooperation of others, must have the ability to present
their point of view clearly and persuasively. Your
candidate’s knowledge of the appropriate behavior in a
variety of situations and her ability to size up people
and draw realistic conclusions about them are measured
on this scale. So too is their ability to present ideas
clearly and concisely. Can she establish and maintain
effective working relationships? Does he handle delicate
